English is the official language of these terms.
These terms apply when you get WholeRun or WholeRun GO. Both are made and sold by Jay Bay Creates LLC, a North Dakota limited liability company. Your use of them is covered by the License Agreement.
1. Where you buy
WholeRun and WholeRun GO are sold through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft handles payment, sales tax and receipts, and the Microsoft Store’s own terms (the Microsoft Store Terms of Sale and the Microsoft Services Agreement) apply to the purchase as well as these terms. If these terms and Microsoft’s disagree about payment, billing or refunds, Microsoft’s terms control. Jay Bay Creates LLC is the publisher and seller of both programs and is responsible for them and their support; Microsoft is not.
2. Two separate programs
WholeRun (the prompt book) and WholeRun GO (sound and video playback) are separate purchases, each with its own price and its own free trial. Buying one does not include the other. Each works on its own; if you have both, WholeRun GO can bring in cues from WholeRun. The free WholeRun Viewer, for reading productions people send you, is free for anyone without a time limit.
3. Licenses and prices
The price is shown in the Microsoft Store before you buy and may differ by country. Introductory prices may apply until a date shown in the Store and on our website. Your license is linked to the Microsoft account you buy with, and you can install the program on the Windows devices the Microsoft Store allows for that account. Prices may change, but not for purchases already made.
4. Free trial
You can try each program free for 7 days from the Microsoft Store before buying. The trial is linked to your Microsoft account, so reinstalling doesn’t start a new trial. When the trial ends you can no longer edit until you buy: depending on how Windows handles the end of the trial, the program either opens read-only or doesn’t open until you buy. Nothing you made is deleted. Your production and show files stay on your computer, unchanged, and WholeRun productions open in the free WholeRun Viewer at any time. Save your work to files during the trial (uninstalling the app removes what it keeps in its own storage).
5. Refunds
Refunds follow the Microsoft Store refund policy. Please try the free 7-day trial before buying. To ask for a refund, use your Microsoft account’s order history or Microsoft Support; Microsoft decides refund requests under its policy. We don’t give refunds outside the Microsoft Store, except where the law requires it. If Microsoft refunds your purchase, the license ends and the program stops editing the next time it checks your license. Your files stay yours.
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live, for example if a program is faulty.
6. License checks
Both programs work without the internet. The Windows app confirms your license with the Microsoft Store when it starts and from time to time when the computer is online, on its own. If your computer stays offline for a long time, connect it to the internet before tech week and before each performance run so the check can happen; if a license can’t be confirmed, you can still open, read and print your productions in the free WholeRun Viewer.
7. Updates
Updates are delivered through the Microsoft Store. A future major version may be sold as a separate purchase or upgrade; if so, you can keep using the version you have.
8. Organizations and schools
Theatres and schools can buy through a Microsoft account they control, or through their organization’s Microsoft purchasing where it is available. For several copies, an education discount or an invoice, email contact@wholerun.app.
9. Chargebacks and fraud
Please contact Microsoft, or us, before disputing a charge. Licenses from fraudulent or reversed payments may be ended.
